These monthly networking events are hosted by the Peninsula Chapter for prenatal, birth, and postpartum practitioners. Come share about yourself and your practice and meet other professionals in the community and learn more about each other. Some meetings feature presentations and informative discussions with community experts on specific topics.

The Peninsula Chapter hosts a relaxed and informal pot-luck quarterly for BABI members, their spouses, SOs or friends. Please feel free to bring people who might be interested in joining BABI as well. Alternates between Friday and Saturday evenings.

"When Childbirth Becomes Traumatic" Conference
October 6-7, 2007
This 2 day conference in Los Gatos, CA was hosted by BABI and SOLACE (Support in Overcoming Labor and Childbearing Experiences). The conference featured Penny Simkin and Phyllis Klaus (authors of "When Survivors Give Birth"). Please visit the SOLACE website to learn more about SOLACE's mission and the telephone line and support available for women following challenging childbirth.
